Project Manager (North and South America)

To strengthen our North American headquarters in Greenville, South Carolina, we are seeking a full-time:

Position Summary

The Project Manager has full ownership of customer projects from quotation through installation, commissioning, and after-sales support. This role is responsible for project execution, customer satisfaction and commercial performance. The position works cross-functionally with Sales, Engineering, Operations, suppliers, and customers to ensure projects are delivered across North and South America.

The position requires a strong technical foundation combined with proven project leadership and customer-facing experience in capital equipment or industrial automation environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead projects from initial quotation through final customer acceptance.
  • Define and validate technical solutions in collaboration with Engineering.
  • Develop, review, and approve project quotations with Sales.
  • Own project scope, schedule, budget, and margin performance.
  • Serve as the primary customer contact throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Review and validate customer purchase orders and contract scope.
  • Coordinate internally with:
  • Engineering
  • Materials & Logistics
  • Manufacturing
  • Service
  • Manage internal and external suppliers and subcontractors in relation with Materials & Logistics.
  • Identify project risks and implement mitigation plans.
  • Oversee installation, commissioning, and customer handover.
  • Ensure complete and accurate technical and project documentation.
  • Support strategic customer visits and key trade shows.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives for products and processes.
  • Support after-sales activities and resolve escalations when required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related technical field required.
  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience in capital equipment, automation, or industrial machinery.
  • Strong working knowledge of hydraulics, controls, and electrical systems.
  • Demonstrated experience managing customer-facing technical projects.
  • Experience in injection molding and/or metal stamping industries is a plus.
  • Commercial acumen with experience managing project margins and scope.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems (QuickBooks preferred).
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Willingness to travel occasionnaly domestically and internationally.
